Designed in collaboration with experts from various disciplines including linguistics, computer science, social sciences as well as the information technologies sector and civil society, this tool provides an open-source system for detecting online hate speech by utilizing artificial intelligence technology.
The Publications section presents the outputs of the project undertaken in an effort to counter hate speech, discrimination and disinformation in the digital space. As part of the project, various activities were conducted including a series of public awareness events, capacity-building workshops for civil society organizations and young activists in Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa, the podcast series Söylemin Hâlleri, an open-source software for hate speech detection, a competition for researchers, a report on current debates on hate speech, and multimedia content.
